The Centre for Community Knowledge in collaboration with India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) will be organising Delhi Dialogues—an exhibition of photographs of everyday life in Delhi from the 1930s–1990s. Selected works of amateur photographers will be displayed under various themes that have emerged from the Delhi Visual Archive set up by the Centre for Community Knowledge.
We warmly invite you all to attend the exhibition. We encourage everyone to share their own memories of Delhi through their personal photographs, as we believe people’s stories are stories of the city. The exhibition will be open from 14th–20 September, 2018 from 4:00– 7:00 p.m. on all days at Ambedkar University Delhi, Karampura Campus .
The inauguration day, 14 September, will also mark the launch of the ‘Dilli ki Yaadein/ Memories of Delhi‘ website, an online archive for accessing the Delhi Visual Archive.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events. (Refer to poster attached.)
This exhibition is curated by Bhavin Shukla, an IFA fellow under Archival and Museum Fellowship.
