As part of their project on Re-profiling Street Food in Saint Louis, Senegal, the team of researchers at Gaston Berger University are putting together a website. Currently available in French, it will also be translated into English and Wolof.

The Street Food Senegal website is being created as a media platform that will

  • Offer applications and E-learning / E-teaching opportunities in the areas of gardening, composting, recycling, cooking, nutrition, biodiversity, and the creation of social enterprises
  • Make educational materials produced in foreign languages available locally through translation
  • Foster the development of communities of mutual knowledge and peer-to-peer sharing
  • Promote the task of archiving work related to the Mémographie project.
